Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payments
- A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your shoot.
- Your date is confirmed once payment is received.
- Payments are made by bank transfer, with other options available on request.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable and may be subject to the remaining session fee, where legally permitted.
- Rescheduling is free, subject to availability and agreement of a new date.
- Sessions may be rescheduled due to bad weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
Image Delivery
- Edited images are delivered via a private online gallery within 2 weeks, unless otherwise agreed.
- RAW or unedited files are not provided.
- Only final, fully edited images will be delivered.
Copyright & Usage
- I retain full copyright and ownership of the images.
- Personal-use rights are granted for printing and sharing.
- Commercial use requires separate permission and licensing.
- Images must not be edited or filtered without approval.
Pet Responsibility & Safety
- Owners are responsible for their pet's safety, behaviour, and supervision throughout the session.
- Please let me know about any behavioural issues, nervousness, aggression, or special requirements before the shoot.
- Pets should be appropriately secured and handled where necessary.
- I reserve the right to stop or end a session if I feel the pet, owner, or photographer is at risk.
- I am not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage caused by the pet.
Client Responsibility
- Please arrive on time. Late arrivals will reduce your session time and will not normally extend the shoot.
- Arrivals 30+ minutes late without notice may be treated as a cancellation.
- Owners are responsible for their personal belongings and any damage caused by their pet.
Travel
- Essex: Minimal travel fees may apply.
- London & Kent: Additional travel fees may apply due to travel time, parking, tolls, and other expenses.
- Nationwide: Custom travel quotes are available.
Style & Creative Approach
- By booking, you confirm that you have reviewed my portfolio and are booking based on my photography style.
- Specific images, poses, locations, or results cannot be guaranteed.
- Final image selection and editing remain at my creative discretion.
Portfolio & Promotional Use
- I may use selected images from your session for my website, portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise.
- If you do not wish for your pet's images to be used publicly, please let me know before the session.
Agreement
- By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights under UK law.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring to the photoshoot?
You should bring anything that will help your pet feel comfortable and happy! This can include their favorite toys, treats, or a blanket they like. If you have any specific accessories like bandanas, collars, or clothing, feel free to bring those as well!
How do I prepare my pet for the session?
To help your pet feel at ease, it's a good idea to bring them on a short walk before the shoot to burn off some energy. Make sure they’re well-fed and rested so they’re in a good mood! Also, bring any familiar items like toys or blankets to help them feel more relaxed.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Yes, of course! We love capturing the bond between you and your pet. Feel free to jump in for some shots together, whether it’s playful moments or a more formal portrait.
What if my pet doesn’t cooperate during the shoot?
No worries! Pets can be unpredictable, and we’re used to working with them. If your pet needs breaks or doesn’t feel like posing at the moment, we’ll adjust the session to suit their needs. Patience is key, and we’ll make sure the experience is enjoyable for both you and your pet.
What happens if the weather is bad on the shoot day?
If the weather isn’t ideal (rain, heavy fog, etc.), we can either embrace the conditions for a unique aesthetic or reschedule for a better day. I always keep an eye on the forecast to plan accordingly.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel fees may apply for shoots outside my standard area, depending on the distance. Local shoots are free of charge, while longer distances locations may have additional costs.
