I’ve loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. What started with taking random photos on my phone eventually turned into something much bigger, and now I get to do what I love while meeting some amazing people, pets and businesses along the way.
For me, photography isn’t about making everything look perfect or overly posed. It’s about capturing the moments, details and personalities that make something special.
Whether I’m photographing your dog, your car, a special moment with someone you love, an event or your business, I want your photos to feel natural, genuine and completely you.
It all started with an iPhone ... Before I had a proper camera, I was always taking photos and filming things on my phone. If something caught my eye, I’d take a photo of it. I loved experimenting with different angles, trying to make ordinary moments look a little more interesting and, most importantly, just creating. Then in 2017, I got my first proper camera. That’s when photography went from something I enjoyed doing to something I became completely obsessed with. I started experimenting, learning as much as I could and figuring out what kind of photographer I wanted to be.
And honestly, I’m still learning today.
My love for photography eventually led me into filmmaking and editing too. I studied Film & TV at South Essex College, where I graduated with a distinction. I also completed courses at Ealing Studios in London, including young filmmaking, screen space and post-production. Studying film taught me a lot about more than just using a camera. It helped me understand storytelling, composition, movement, lighting and editing, all things that continue to influence the way I work today. I love being able to take those skills and bring them into my photography and videography.
In summer 2022, I started taking my camera along to car shows and meets just for fun. I had no idea at the time how much it would influence my photography. I loved the atmosphere, the cars, the people and the freedom to experiment. It gave me the chance to try different angles, styles and techniques while photographing something I genuinely enjoyed. It also introduced me to some brilliant people who shared the same passion.
What started as something I did for fun quickly became a huge part of my photography, and it’s something I still love doing today.
I know being in front of a camera can feel a little awkward sometimes, but you don’t need to know how to pose or have any experience being photographed.
That’s where I come in.
I’ll give you direction and ideas throughout the shoot when you need them, but I also like to keep things relaxed and let things happen naturally. I want you to feel comfortable, be yourself and actually enjoy the experience.
Whether I’m photographing a person, a pet, a car, a business, an event or something completely different, every shoot is a little different, and I’ll always work with you to get the best out of it.
Some of my favourite photos are the ones that happen naturally, when you’re not even thinking about the camera.
A personal experience - Every shoot is different. I’ll take the time to understand what you want and tailor the shoot around you.
Patience with pets - Animals don’t always follow the plan, and that’s okay. I’m happy to work at their pace and let their personality come through.
Attention to detail - From finding the right light and composition to the final edit, I care about the little things that make an image work.
Flexible & local - I’m based in South Essex / Kent and can travel to your location or help find somewhere that suits your shoot.
For me, photography is about more than taking a nice picture. It’s about remembering how something felt. The excitement of seeing your car finished for the first time.
The personality of a dog that never stops moving. The little moments between two people. The atmosphere of an event. The work you’ve put into building your business etc.
What’s Next?
I’m still learning, still experimenting and still finding new things that inspire me.
That’s one of the things I love most about photography, there’s always something new to learn and something different to capture.
